AMM out of spec? 200 1984

The heated wire check in the Bently manual says the resistance in the wire should be 3.5 to 4.0 ohms. When I meter the wire from the ECM connector it reads 4.4 ohms. From the AMM connector it reads 4.3 ohms. Do I need a new AMM? ouch. I understand the rebuilt units are not reliable.
