Bumper repair 900 1994

Can someone tell me how to remove the bumper cover on a 94 940?
My daughter bumped into someone and the bumper is pushed in on one side. The impact absorber is pushed in on that side. I'm told you can sometimes pull it back out, but first step is to get the cover off I think.
