940 - B230T Engine w/flickering oil light 900 1994

I read the FAQ and plan to replace the oil pump. I'm @ 150Kmiles. I found it interesting that the rod bearings can be replaced at the same time. What about the mains? If my rod bearings are to the copper as were those of the FAQ writer, I'd imagine the mains aren't a lot better; right? What if I do the rod bearings, then with the caps reinstalled do the mains; will everything stay in place?
On a 150K engine should I do the rear seal at the same time, even if it's not leaking now?
