No heat! 700 1989

Hope it is something simple; not sure when it started but now it is sort of chilly down here. Heat guage shows fine as always but usually no heat at all. Sometimes a very little bit can be felt through the vent but it soon goes away. We finished tearing out a bunch of stuff trying to troubleshoot what turned out to be a incorrectly installed NSS so maybe something not hooked back up?
