Rear Bushings 200 1989

I'm having some front end work done - part of which is replacing the control arm bushings. On inspection, the rear bushings (trailing arm and torque rod) are kaput. I plan to have them replaced, sometime, but now have questions as to: Other problems resulting from worn rear bushings? The ride quality will be better (couldn't be worse), but beyond that, the only thing I know for certain about bushing replacement is that I can't do it myself. Thanks.
