who's been stealing my coolant? 200 1983

My 1983 turbo wagon has been going thru coolant fairly quickly. Not sure where to look. Oil cap looks alright, not like coffee cream. I have noticed a while back that I could see a some water dripping on the drivers side of the car, just behind the front wheel well, and about a foot under the car. Haven't taken a good look yet. Some steam out of the exhaust now an then, but not a whole lot. Any suggestions where to look?
