240 shiftlock problems 200 1991

The shiftlock in my '91 240 is no longer working. In order to get it out of park i am having to use the shiftlock override. I've checked the break light fuse so i am down to thinking it may be the solonoid.

I'm just wondering if there is anyway to check this or if there are any other possible reasons it wouldn't be working.

Also if it is the solonoid, how do i go about replacing it?
