I have a 93 240 which has been moved from Florida to it's first winter in New England. Have a real rough idle at cold start. It will run good when fully warmed up. This car is experiencing its first sub freezing temps. My mechanic did all the normal tune-up items plus injection stuff, throttle body, idle sensor, booster hose etc.. He says injection system is perfect and has to be the ECU which is the original. He mentioned 93 was a bad vintage for ECU's. Is he blowing smoke or do I spring for rebuilt unit in anticipation of success or go for a second opinion?
