'84 GL Doesn't Start When Its Rainy/Wet 200

Hey all. I have a '84 GL that doesn't start when it rains. It starts right up when its dry out. Some people have suggested the carberator miight get flooded in the rain. Has anyone dealthwith this before? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. p.s. Drying the wires doesn't seem to help.
