My 1990 Volvo 240 has got some intermitten problems.
It started a couple of weeks ago to jerk/buck.
Then it would rough idle and then stall out.
Some time later it would start up fine, as if nothing happened.
Since then I replaced the throttle position sensor, new plugs and wires,
new fuel pump relay. The distributor cap and rotor are fine.
The previous owner changed the transfer pump some months ago.
Yet the problem persists. I can smell some rich exhaust.
The fuse box is fine, no corrosion at all. The 25 amp blade fuse next to the
P/S reservoir is a bit old, but I cleaned it up.
While's it's stall out and refusing to start up, unplugging the AMM doesn't help.
It's been rainning like crazy, maybe that's got something to do with it.
Any suggestions?
How likely is the engine harness the problem? (it looks fine)
