Upper chassis braces - worth the money? 200 1989

Are the upper chassis braces, that mount from the strut towers to the firewall, worth the money? I immediately felt an improvement when I installed the "turbo" sway bars. Would I "feel" a further improvement if I purchased these braces? I don't have the desire, or care to spend the money on a strut tower brace. Thanks!
