Well today is my birthday! The big two-seven. I finally broke down and went to the local dealer where a really nice 92 740 turbo wagon w/ 108K has disturbed my sleep for a month, and paid cash. I'll pick her up tomorrow after they clean her out. It's a nice car for 1500 bucks. It'll need an engine as it has knock, but the body, interior and everything else is very nice, so I won't mind dropping in the '94 940 engine I scored (if I can close the deal). On a down note right before I left to sign on the dotted line, I went to change my shirt when I noticed it was dripping wet with cat piss. I hate to kick animals out of the house but the cats are apparently not house cats. You win some and you lose some. I hope my loss was the pissed on shirt and not the car. I'll keep everyone informed, as this one is another project but certainly a better starting point than my first Volvo and my dearly departed second volvo. Crap, I am on my fourth Volvo! The third is a cream puff 95 940, it's my wife's (she claimed it the day we brought it home), I get the projects.
