Tranny Rumblings 700

Hi,

I have recently noticed that my automatic transmission is starting to slip a little (just for a second) when I take up drive in first gear in the morning after sitting all night. Then is seems like it takes a little longer to shift into fourth, however, after it warms up it shifts just fine. What might this indicate?
I am pretty tranny illiterate but all that seems logical to me is maybe an inner seal that is a little worn that is now shrinking from the cold, allowing fluid that should be staying somewhere to leak down into the pan over night. Or a loss in friction on a worn surface due to the cold that corrects itself when the tranny heats up.
