small leak in firewall 200 1983

Hi all,

yesterday I thought I had isolated the source of my major h20 leak to a plug in the firewall. turns out the h20 is actually coming in through a tiny (not visible to me) hole just above & to the right of that plug.

what would you do to fix this? it is impossible to see where the hole originates on the engine side due to all the metal around it - I can feel around that area, but can't see anything let alone get anything in that spot- it is too small of an area. (it's just above where the where the rear windshield squirter hose is in the engine compartment before it passes through the firewall.)

for right now, i siliconed over the spot where the h20 is coming in. i don't even know how long that will last.....

looking for ideas on how to handle tiny inaccessible body holes.... body putty? welding?

thanks to all for continuous good ideas,

susan.
