Scenario I
The sunroof doesn't slide properly.
I just replaced the sunroof motor. I have the inside cover off so I can see all the mechanics of the sunroof itself and I can't see why the roof slides with such difficulty. I greased the rails and the "metal spring/screw looking thing" that pushes/pulls the roof with a healthy amount of grease. A little bit better, but the roof still seems like it is "too heavy" for the motor. Where are the lubrication points for the sunroof and are there any other places I can look that would make the sliding action more smooth? Any help is appreciated.
Scenario II
My door handles stick. If I dont remember to pull the inside handle back the the closed position my door just bounces back from the catch. Is this merely a situation where I take off the door panel and lubricate the mechanism?
