I HAVE AN 82 GL,AND THE CHARGING SYSTEM IS A LITTLE OFF KILTER. I HAVE AN AMP GUAGE INSTALLED AND WHEN THE HEATER IS CRANKING AND/OR THE LIGHTS ARE ON THE NEEDLE WILL START TO FLUCTUATE 3-4 AMPS. I REWIRED THE BATTERY TERMINALS AND INSTALLED A NEW VOLTAGE REGULATOR IN THE ALTERNATOR WHICH HAS HELPED THE PROBLEM NOT BE AS DRAMATIC, BUT AT TIMES IT SEEMS LIKE THE CHARGING SYSTEM IS TIRED AND NEEDS A REST. ANY IDEAS TO HELP RECTIFY THE PROBLEM SO IT CAN RUN AND LAST FOR LONG DURATIONS OF TIME? I HOPING THE PROBLEM IS A SIMPLE PROCEDURE I MIGHT BE OVERLOOKING.
