200 Turbo gurus - should I buy? 200

I have an opportunity to buy an '83 245t, 170k, new tires, new front brakes, new A/C compressor, regular service, all power, leather, new paint etc...

Seems like a good deal for $1,000. What do you think?

Since I only have experience with the 900 series, is there anything specific I should be looking for when I see the car tomorrow? (year/turbo/series related problems or potential conditions)
