740 radio upgrade 700 1989

I picked up a volvo sr-7145/tp-7145 2 separate DIN radio/equalizer (the one with the separate cassette deck) off EBAY that I was hoping to replace my stock cassette radio with. It is complete with the entire center radio console including ash tray. I think it comes from a 760. I thought it would be an easy swap. But the wiring is very different and the console will not swap as I hoped.

Does this model have its own amplifier built in for four speakers? There is an extra 6 point DIN plug on the back is this an additional amplifier for extra speakers? I haven't tracked down an owners manual or wiring diagram yet, any advice where? I assume with any upgrade I'll have to bypass the amp. How difficult is that?

I have the complete center radio console it came in but there are installation issues as the ash trays are different since I have the fuse panel behind my removable ash tray. The 740 has several distinct sections radio, tray, ashtray. The newer one's components fit into a frame that attaches to the dash.

Thanks for your help.
