Where's best place to mount RF CD changer in 1990 GL wagon & how dificult? 700 1990

I want to add a RF modulated CD changer to my 1990 GL wagon and wondered if anyone found a good spot. Does the console have the depth (11 in.) with the plastic insert out? I am open to ideas. How hard is it to pull the standard radio to connect to antenna? Where is best power tap-on? I have not done this kind of add-on before. Should I leave it to the pros? Thanks in advance.
