I just installed a tach this afternoon and it only runs up to approximately 1K or slightly above. Idle is at 0 rpm (or only slightly above). What is the cause of this abbreviated range? Also, the small clock (installed at same time) does not seem to be working. Do not have access to multimeter yet to test for voltage, etc. Any leads appreciated.
