This is one of those things where I decided it's better to ask than to assume and cause twice as much work in the end...
I have a B230F with LH-Jet 2.2, what's the easiest way to take the fuel rail off? I am trying to get rid of most of the junk on top of the manifold so I can take it off, but the fuel rail is giving me a hard time. On the back end of it, which I'm assuming is the return line, it looks as if it is supposed to just unscrew. However, it feels like it'll rather break than start budging. The hose itself has some free play on it, and looks like there is a smaller metal pipe inside, which seems to go pretty far inside. Also, on the other end, it seems that the easiest solution would be to yank the rubber hose off from behind the fuel filter (?, small gray canister made by Bosch), but that seemed to be a little tight as well.
So my question is, how do I get the fuel lines off this thing without breaking it? I figured it can stay on the manifold if I just unhook the electric connectors from the injectors..
Damn these modern gadgets, I didn't have nearly as much trouble with the Amazon... :-)
