Crankcase pressure and Oil pressure... 200 1984

This quesation may initially seem stupid...but read on... Is it possible that there is excessive crancase pressure in my '84 Volo 240 Turbo caused by a clogged oil seperator (or other problem) even though my oil pressure guage reads ~4 bar (normal) when warm?

In other words, can there be pressure differences within the crankcase that the oil pressure sender cannot read (because of location)? Or is pressure equalized within different areas of the crankcase?
