Getting oil to a turbo-on an NA block! 700 1989

List,

I'm putting a late model B230f block into an '89 760ti in place of the dead B230ft bottom end. What I'm looking for input on is getting oil to the turbo. Here's what I'm thinking:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I COULD get oil coming FROM the oil cooler and use that to feed the turbo, and then continue that oil to the block? Would there be enough flow/pressure if I did this? Wouldn't it be nice to put the freshly cooled oil straight to the turbo? Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences? I know I can tap the oil pressure sending unit, but how will that affect the readings? The turbo unit is a water cooled Garrett. Thanks in advance-

Nathan
