Please help me....i have an 83 240 dl wagon, it will turn over but wont start. I have taken the fuel pump off and then i realized it was still good. I have gas coming to the fuel rail but my pressure regualtor is gone. I took the return line off the regulator and it will not pump any gas out so i know that its bad. I dont really want to spend the $53 to buy a new one if it isnt goin to do any good. COULD this keep my car from starting. I have sprayed starting fluid in it from the air intake hose with it off. Will starting fluid mess up that air sensor? My car will run for a few seconds off of the starting fluid but i dont know if anything electrical is wrong with it since the electrical systems on volvos suck!!
