I have a 96 Volvo 960 wagon that occasionally will not start. When the key is turned there is a "click" that sounds like a relay click. Seem to hear the click in the right front dash area and in the driver's side door. I run the gear shift up and down--doesn't work; I turn the electric lock button on and off--no help. Guess is PNP switch, but would this additional problem be related? Additional problem: tried to program a new electric lock clicker by turning the key on and off 5 times, but the red light on the dash would not activate, so could not program the clicker. Any help would be appreciated.
