My son has a 1987 740 GLE. He ran out of gas, and a "friend" brought over some gas to him. It was a very old mixture of gas and oil. Now I can't get the car started again. I've towed it home, removed most of the bad gas, diluted the rest with high octain gas, replaced the fuel pump and filter. I have a steady flow of reasonably clean gas going to the bank of fuel injectors. If I put eather in the intake, it sorta runs until the eather is used up. Spark is good. Sometimes it will try to start with a very brief sputter. Any suggestions other than slay the child?
Thanks
