the main pump( I think its the main pump, pin connections are 85, 87/2 & 86/2) relay windings have gone a gold colour whilst the in tank relay windings are still the copper colour. Does this colour change mean anything?
Also, when doing the fuel pump & FI Relay diagnostics jumping terminals 30 & 87/2, this wire got very hot, its plastic cover even melted. Is this normal? Note that the pumps both wirred away when I jumpered this, even though the ignition key was out! Again, is this normal?
