Big timing headache rescue needed, please 200 1979

Hello and a happy new year 2003 to all...

I had the head milled approximately .070" on my B21F engine.

I install the head.

I advance the cam gear one tooth because that is how much advance I want my K cam to have. I put the timing belt on crank, intermediate and cam gears perfectly aligned. I mark the belt with "liquid paper". I turn, turn, turn the crank by hand watching for the blessed moment when all the markings will show up again in their initial perfect alignment.

After turning the crank for five minutes, still no sign of the said perfect alignment.

I HAVE to get the timing perfect because, in the event of a mistake, that modified B21F will turn into a big paperweight.

What am I completely missing here, please?

Almost infinite thanks, in advance, for any and all help...
