Fuel system pressure related to idle? 200 1980

In an effort to rid my 80 242 DL(B21F, K-Jet) of a noisy fuel system and bucking situation I have replaced all of the following: in-tank pump(740T upgrade), main pump, and accumulator. The upgrade was the last thing done and not long after that I started having this problem of the idle sticking at anywhere between 1200 and 2000 rpm. If I tap the gas firmly it will USUALLY come down to around 1000 - 1200. This sticking idle mostly happens when under load but not exclusively. Sometimes upon warm startup the idle will go right up to 1500 before engaging the clutch.

I've cleaned the throttle body, air flow sensor, and aux air valve thinking that they were sticking. No fix or even improvement.

So I'm shooting for anything because it is really annoying and my MPGs are dropping too, but... could all of these new parts be causing too much pressure on my fuel distributor or something? or does that not make sense?

Miles on car are unknown but I'm sure it's well over 150K.

Thanks,
Marty
