Volvo 140 DL sedan 1989 130K miles

I went into my trunk this afternoon to take a peek at the state of my sender/pre-pump/hoses etc... I removed the cover from inside the trunk, exposed the top entrance of the tank... The connection of the sending unit looked like a pull-off type connector so stupidly I pulled on it (not hard mind you) and it just ripped out the prongs of what must be the sending unit. Everything up there looks like it is rotted with rust to hell... I would like to fix this, and further examine if my pre-pump is functional, along with that problamatic little rubber fuel hose that cracks and lets air in...

Never taken any of these apart, and faced with a majorly rust infested sample, I need DIAGRAMS/PICTURES.

Can someone help and provide me with something?
