Hey all. My 1985 744GLE has some leather seats in need of repair (age and previous owners cargo I imagine). I looked in the FAQ and checked out some previous posts on the matter, and just want some clarity. I keep checking the self-serve junkyards and no 700's to be found to yank a seat out of. Am I to understand that you can remove the leather cover and have it repaired (RE: FAQ reply). If so how do I get it off the seat(front drivers and rear drivers side bench). One last thing, how much should I expect to pay and where should I take it? Someone mentioned that they had seats repaired at a shoe repair place! Thanx in advance.
