Installing new struts. 200 1991

Hi Everybody. My 91' 240 with 204k is in need of new front struts. I recently replaced the rear shocks and springs. The old ones were really worn out they were monroe sensatracs or something. Anyhow, now that the back is done, I need to move to the front. Is there anything special that I should know before undertaking this project? Do I need to order those spacer thingies? (I'm Planning on installing KYB struts to match the shocks I just put in back.) Any advice? (I have no clue what I'm doing.) Thanks in Advance!
