Buying a Turbo...question. 200

I am looking at buying an '84 244 turbo that is for sale locally. I have never owned a turbocharged car of any sort. I know the Volvo turbo's have a great reputation, but is there anything I should look for regarding the turbocharger?

Any certain noises or movements or missing hoses, etc.?

I am quite familiar with the b23 engine itself, so there are no concerns there.
