Want to flush my power steering...Which is the retrun line? 200

Hello Bricksters,
After a good flushing, I installed the IPD in-line filter for my transmission and really like the idea. My steering happens to be a little stiff... so I want to flush the fluid (before I change the universals or rack) and am wondering which line is the return to the resivior. If I am looking at the plastic box where the fluid is contained... is the upper or lower plastic fitting the return line? I will ass-u-me the upper is the return, but am unsure. As well, I have never flushed a power steering system and would like a little advice on how to procede. Thanks in advance.
