refinish mirrors - what to do? 200 1981

Bad news from the blasting shop - one mirror had fairly severe corrosion on housing, gone now but has left pits. This appears to put a damper on my plans for powder coating. What is best type filler to use with the housings so that I can prime & paint? Or is there a filler I can use and still have them powder coated?
