instrument cluster removal -76 262 GL 200 1976

How does one go about removing the instument cluster on a 76 262 GL? I am to the point of using a slege hammer. I have the steering column covers off, all the the dash board accessories(vents, clock, etc.) and every time I pry at something, it feels like its going to break, rip or snap. I'm pretty sure EVERY screw is out.

Do I need to take the whole dash board off? If so, how is this done? I checked out the archives and nobody has removed a cluster from this year. Only late 240s, some 700s and 900s.

Am I missing something simple here?

Help me out guys!

Thanks a bunch

Adrian
