DL hates the cold 200 1980

My 1980 242 DL sedan won't start only in cold weather, but starts in the afternoon. Battery terminals, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, flame trap, spark plugs, and air filter are all ok. Starter fluid doesn't make a difference. What's going on here?
