Please pardon the intrusion of a non-Volvo question...Ive gotten great advice here for my 240 and 740, but this is on behalf of a friend and I dont know where else to turn. She's got a 1981 Mercedes..dont know the model..and she's getting very little heat in the car. Plus, the engine temp does not appear to be rising properly.

I would like to replace the thermostat and just want to know whether others think that would be the thing to do.
