I have an "89" 245 wagon with a CR-712 cassette radio, it has the front two 4" speaker only. I was also planning to install a CD player (in the lower compartment) for classical and jazz music. It just isn't worth the effort if I don't have rear speakers.

I want to install the two rear speaker but don't know if my current amp can power these extra speakers. Installion of the speakers is not a problem, I just need to know if I need a new amp, wiring etc.?

Did all CR-712 come with front speakers only, or did my P.O. not purchase that option?
