Another E-Code conversion question for the 960 900

I just had it driving at night and not seeing. (yes I have my eyes open)
I'm just about to order the e-code conversion kit from Groton, but I have concerns about past posts that indicate the drivers side light often blinds oncomming traffic. Is this issue because the e-code kit is designed for left side of the road driving, and therefore I should make shure the kit is approved for Germany. Or are all ecodes are the same and I need to decide if this is an acceptable liability or not.
