Amp Mounting Location

I have an amp about 8.5"x11"x4" that is sliding in my trunk at the moment because I have not had a chance to screw it down. Any suggestion on where, or where not to drive in screws? I thought that I would put it up agains the back seat. I have a plastic that it seems would be easy to screw it to. Any thoughts would be helpful. Oh yeah, the car is a 92 940t sedan.
