i know it may sound a little far fetched, but i live in new england and it's snowing one day and sunny the next, so what i think might have happened was some of the snow melted and somehow got into the window motor. i think this because when it's cold, the window doesn't work, but when it heats up, it works fine. and the other day, when i pushed the button, it sounded like it was breaking free of something. so since it hasn't really been warm enough for it to "evaporate" and this problem only happens when it's cold, i think that it might have something to do with moisture in the window motor. if anyone know's what i can do, or has had a similar problem, PLEASE POST! thanks a bunch.
