headlight bulb recommendation 900 1994

Hey all,
I have to replace my headlight bulbs on my 94 940Turbo. I know the U.S. 9004 bulbs, in a word, suck. What's a good replacement bulb? I don't have the funds for a euro conversion, so I'll have to make do for now. What do you guys recommend? Thanks
