I recently replaced the air intake tube that goes from the air mass meter to the turbo. This on an 1988 740 turbo wagon. Its the Mitsu turbo. So on this air intake tube is one outlet that is insulated, and goes over the top of the valve cover into the breather box (I believe, its hard to see). When I replaced this tube, I blew into the insulated tube to see if anything happened, and I could not blow through. It was like trying to blow a softball through a garden hose, no go. I take it this is not normal? Also, I now notice oil leaking through from this tube down onto the BRAND NEW amm to turbo tube. So it has to be coming back from the breather box. Should I just replace the breather box? IS this my problem? Help please, I still haven't had a response to this question as I have asked it before. Thanks.
