Electric Fan Conversion 200

I reviewed a previous posting and Dave Barton's website. A couple of questions persist in my mind. How and with what do I connect a power source to the electric fan? I'm afraid of blowing a fuse. Also, sorry if this is a dumb question, but the electric fan is mounted only to the radiator and does not touch the water pump pulley, right? Thanks in advance for your patience, understanding, and support.
