'91 945 turbo > Cold rolling idle > 400-1000 rpm and some stalling, ideas? 900

need the "usual suspects" list for my idle concern. car is '91 940SE
Turbo, 128K. recently idle intermittently will begin rolling for no apparent
reason, idles very low and recovers. most of the time has rolling idle and
recently has began stalling while driving.

thanks in advance for suggestions.
