Hi all,
Think my 1980 244 DL find is lost. Last night I got plowed in the ass by a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. Lucky me. The Volvo crumpled like a champ, absorbed all the impact and I seem fine. Thank You Volvo!!! But my car is a total mess.
The driver's seat is laying flat, won't come up, is this an impact related issue? Also the rear crumpledand folded right at the gas tank door. Has anyone had luck straightnening the rear after a crach like this? I hate to just trash it, but its old, rusty and probably not worth having a shop do the work. If I could make it useable again myself with junk yard parts, I'd like to that. Is this Feasable? Any insight would be apperciated.
