88' 245 Automatic Transmission sloppy shifting 200

All of the sudden my 240 wagon has a latency/sloppy/sometimes shifting from one gear to the next up or down shift. It upshifts when it wants to (car it racing not normal), sometimes I can get it to shift by taking my foot off the gas and putting my foot back on the gas. By the way it races it seems to downshift all the way to first. I checked the transmission oil, it appears to be in the normal range,
at max.
Any clue what is wrong?
Any good Volvo Mechanics around i79-i80 in western PA?

PS 5 star volvo mechanics in Columbus, Ohio at European Autoworks. Went there for 10+ years before I moved to Western PA.
