i just have not quite figured out how to use this web page , so please bear with me. my daughter purchased a volvo, 90 ,740gl ,a couple of weeks ago. me being the "dad" & "grandpa" i get the privilege of working on her car. it did not want to start when the temp here hit the low-mid 20,s. i bought a distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and plug wires, along with a case of oil, oil filter, air filter and some tail lights. napa cost 181.12 total. my 2 year old grandson and i installed every thing but the oil change in about 2 and a half hours. having a little helper kinda makes things go slow. the old plugs were gapped @ about.045 instead of the recomended .028-.032, the cap and rotor showed signs of pitting and wear, the wires were old bosch and worn, air filter cloged. well the "brick ,as every one seams to call them here, runs 1000% better and starts in the cold. if you have the time and energy try and learn to do these things on your own. they really are not that hard to do, and will save you some $$$. good luck. cheers, jess
