240 DL Heater - Can I make it hotter? 200

The heater core on my 240 DL (117,000 miles) was clogged - very clogged! It had to be flushed out. It took six tries, but the sixth time was a charm and the heater is working now. However, while the heat is enough to keep me from freezing, I would like it to be warmer, hot if possible. My question is, can the heater be tweaked to make it warmer? Will it over time continue to get warmer and warmer the more it is run as the system recirculates the liquid?
